Anak New Corella is a non-profit organization that is driven to a transformative force for community development, emerged as the phoenix from the roots of the Community Based Dev. Alumini Organization (CBDAO) established in 2002. The organization underwent a metamorphosis in 2009, solidifying its commitment to progress and unity under the name Asosasyon sa mga Nagkahiusang Alagad sa Kalamboan (ANAK) after obtaining official recognition from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Comprising a dynamic assembly of 41 dedicated members, all of whom are alumni of an intensive month-long community-based development training in Davao City, ANAK stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of empowerment. Among its distinguished members, 18 have elevated their commitment to excellence by participating in the International Leadership Development course hosted in Nagoya, Japan, spanning the transformative period from 1992 to 2006.
ANAK thrives on meaningful collaborations, with the Institute of Primary Health Care-Davao Medical School Foundation as its primary NGO partner. Together, they forge paths towards health, education, and community well-being. Strengthening bonds across borders, ANAK also extends its influence with the Asian Health Institute of Japan, a distant partner committed to advancing healthcare initiatives.
United by a shared vision of holistic development and sustained by a rich tapestry of experiences, ANAK Inc endeavors to be a beacon of positive change, cultivating prosperity and well-being in the communities it serves.
