Fostering Trust and Empowering Second-Liners:
Since 2000, ANAK New Corella committed to SAPIME activities until 2020, fostering trust and cooperation that nurtured the growth of emerging leaders.
5 Years of Health Transformation:
The Healthy Lifestyles Promotion Program (HLPP): A collaborative effort involving MLGU, 8 BLGUs, IPHC, AHI, and ANAK New Corella. The members and volunteers of ANAK New Corella lead the charge, tirelessly promoting health awareness and creating lasting wellness practices at the grassroots level for a legacy of well-being.
Celebration of Health and Community Wellness:
The Annual HL Fiesta, 2013-2016: Showcasing HLPP best practices, from cooking contests to Zumba dances, fostering community well-being. Supported by BLGU funding, we've elevated health consciousness and influenced government policies for a brighter, healthier future.
Health Enhancement & Organizational Recognition:
ANAK New Corella received a national acclaim for the HLPP, recognized by the DOH and showcased as a best practice in 2013. Our program demonstrates significant improvements in eating habits, increased physical activities, and positive changes in BMI records and health surveys.
A Beacon of Health Excellence:
Last October 2013, the Department of Health in Manila recognized our HLPP as an exemplary Health Advocacy Program in the NGO category, awarding us a cash prize of Php 100,000. The same year, at the National Cardio-Vascular Diseases Convention in Davao City, we proudly presented our HLPP as a model of best practices. Our impact resonates regionally, spreading the message of better health far and wide.
Fueling Minds and Bodies:
ANAK New Corella's impactful Health and Education initiatives: Partnering with Jollibee, we executed the Busog, Lusog Talino (BLT) project in 2012-2013, and collaborated with DepEd and PTA to support the DepEd Supplemental Feeding project in 16 schools from 2018-2019.
Guardians of Nature:
ANAK New Corella collaborates with DENR to develop a Cave Management Plan for Paradise Cave and Tibion Cave in New Corella, fostering empowered communities and dedicated enforcers. The initiative includes organizing Bantay Langob volunteers in two barangays, solidifying our commitment to protect and preserve natural treasures.
Nurturing Dreams:
ANAK New Corella's Decade-Long Commitment to Local Scholarships, 2010-2019. We've been a bridge for indigent students in remote areas, facilitating the handover of financial and material support, offering deserving individuals a chance to chase their dreams.
Unwavering Support in Times of Crisis:
ANAK New Corella's Response to Local Calamities, 2015-2019. When disaster strikes, ANAK steps in, uniting donors from near and far to provide vital relief to those in need. Leading the Way in Sustainable Development:
ANAK New Corella's Journey with the SIAD Process, 2000-2020. As a Galing Pook Awardee, we've been a beacon of participatory development, sharing our invaluable experiences with LGUs and NGOs. In 2006, we hosted the International IAD Workshop, and our SIAD model has inspired countless LGUs and NGOs, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
